PLOT SUMMARY:
Two anthropologists, Professor Henry Higgenbotham and Dr. Emma Trapp, have journeyed to the interior of the South Pacific island of Tasmania to observe and study an extraordinary tribe of prehistoric people, a tribe who possess tremendous intelligence and an innate facility for imitating behavior, learning languages and developing skills. Members of the tribe have long aboriginal names, which Professor Higgenbotham decides to ignore in favor of names he invents for the tribes people, a practice scorned by Dr. Trapp.
