. . . A charming tale of Red Riding Hood with a 1950’s twist. Young Red is still the sweet ingénue, and Red’s mother Horrenda still sees red every time she has to bake goodies for Grandma, but now Grandma is “that little old lady from Pasadena” and the Big Bad Wolf drives a ’57 Chevy. The woodsman, true to form is as square as the door to math class.
